Just want to give kudos to this repair shop and mechanic Ken . Used this place for the first time on my 2016 Hyundai Tucson with no heat , after another local shop told me they couldn't find a problem and another told me that's just how Hyundais are I took the vehicle here on a recommendation and couldn't be more ecstatic . They diagnosed and pinpointed the issue to the Blend door actuator and fixed at a very reasonable price ! Heat works perfectly and we finally have hot air again ! Also had them do some transmission maintenance that I was told can only be done by Hyundai and once again they came thru ! I have 4 vehicles total that I will be taking here from now on . You can't go wrong with these guys honesty and knowledge . Customer for life !

As I write this, the shop has a 4.8 Star rating. My 5 stars won't pull that average up much because it's already so close. This doesn't surprise me. I've been going to Ernie's for about 13 years. The main reason is: trust. On top of that, Ernie and Larry are two of the most pleasant people you'll ever meet.

My 2015 Silverado with AFM (active fuel management) developed lifter ticking, this destroyed the cam shaft and a stuck lifter. Being retired I could not afford a new vehicle, so after recommendations from a retired Jasper engine installer, and another friend that had his engine replaced, I called Ernie, and after the first phone call, he makes you feel warm and fuzzy knowing they are capable of this huge task. I will bring all my repair needs to Ernie’s shop. They are the best. Jasper’s warranty is 3 years or 100,000 miles, parts and labor.

I recently had the pleasure of having Ernie's work on my car (oil change and battery replacement) and it turned what is normally a long, unpleasant and expensive ordeal at the dealership into a breeze. Super nice owners, unusually fair prices, and they let my husband take home a couple of complimentary car calendars for my toddler, who is obsessed with cars. Give em a try and you won't go anywhere else again!

I have a 2007 Chevy Trailblazer with a 5.3. The DOD lifters failed and wiped the camshaft. I had a Jasper Engine many years ago so I looked up for Installers and found that Ernie's is an installer. I took it there and Ernie's installed the Jasper engine with DOD delete and I couldn't be happier. It came with a 3 year, 100,000 mile warranty on parts and labor. Now, I doubt that I will get to the 100,000 mile part of the warranty but I will be keeping this vehicle for at least 3 years or give it to one of my Grandsons. While removing the old engine, they found that my control arm bushings were falling apart. No surprise. They were the originals and the vehicle had 171,000 miles on the odometer. I gave them the go ahead and they fixed it to my satisfaction. I now have almost 175,000 miles on it and I enjoy driving it more than my 2015 Tahoe... I couldn't be happier... Do I recommend Ernie's???? Yes, I do...

I would recommend this shop to a friend. This shop exceeded my expectations in all aspects. I called them asking if they could do some suspension work on my van. Ernie's shop gave me a great quote and immediate service. I had suspension work done on my vehicle the same day. Same day service may not apply if the shop is busy. First come, first serve. If you are curious about what Ernie's shop can do for you, just give them a call. This is the quickest way to reach them. I will definitely be returning for future mechanical repairs if needed.

Engine Maintenance

Big shout out to the crew at Ernie's. They always have phenomenal service. But this time they really outdid themselves. Before leaving on a family trip we asked for a regular oil change. Luckily they checked the car knowing we were traveling and diagnosed brakes issues and a problem with the AC. So glad, they checked, no AC and problem brakes would have been disastrous. On this trip we would be traveling in three separate cars and just before departure one of the vehicles had a headlamp out and the other a flat from a screw on the road, just before departure. What are the odds? Well no problem the crew repaired the tire and had the headlamp changed quickly so we were able to leave on time and enjoy our trip. Thanks to everyone at Ernie's!!
